In that year, it accounted for a third of the exported volume (29,798 metric tons) and 251,300 metric tons of the total value (US$63.7 million). This volume far exceeded other important destinations such as Poland and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the first months of 2025 have shown a strategic shift: the <strong>China&#039;s share of export volume decreased to 22.7%<\/strong>, and to 17% in value. This percentage reduction indicates a <strong>strategic diversification<\/strong> in Chilean shipments. Despite this diversification, China <strong>It maintains its relevance in volume and returns<\/strong> for the Chilean sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January and February of 2025, China received 2,606.9 metric tons of Chilean dried plums, representing approximately one-quarter of the total volume exported during that period. In monetary terms, this was equivalent to US$5.983 billion, or 20.121 billion of the total, confirming a slight percentage decrease in its share compared to 2024.
